I don't know why my kids don't want to do this! Vicki's reply was, "Mom, do I look like a hamster?!!!" I thought it would be fun!

OJ Cravings

Ty decided he wanted OJ.  I asked everyone what they wanted when i knew we had snow coming and i would NOT be able to go to the store!!!  I also was NOT going to go to the store the day before the snow was coming when it was going to be crazy so i went and got everyone's favorite things a few days out of the snow flake fallings.  This morning Ty decides he is craving orange juice.  He NEVER drinks orange juice! I usually have OJ in the fridge because Vicki drinks it but she has been gone and so when she finished the last of it before she left i didn't buy anymore.  Lucky for Ty i keep some in the freezer for my
orange chicken! So i was able to make him some old school orange juice! He was a happy guy! He informed me that he now really likes orange juice and to add it to my grocery list because he is going to join Vicki in the OJ department. 

Are These Cups Getting Smaller?

Ryan asked me if the cups were getting smaller.  I laughed and told him his paws were getting bigger!!!!  He looked down at his hands and made that cute Ryan noise of "hm, eh, oh, ok". He is so funny! I bought these cups way back when were on Okinawa when he was two and he used to use two hands to hold them, i guess they used to be pretty big to him!

Root Beer Floaty

Ryan had his own 2 liter bottle of Root Beer. He made sure everyone knew it was HIS!!! Vicki said, “I wish Ryan didn’t drink straight out of his bottle! I would REALLY like a root beer float!” Ed told her to go ahead and have some.  Vicki said, “NO!!!! I don’t want a ROOT BEER FLOATY!!!” We were laughing…….yep, I don’t like drinking after someone else either and apparently Ryan is known for back washing…..i don’t know this as fact…….just what I hear on the low down from the kids…..

Sheer Bliss!

I came home from work today and sat on the couch.....loved the site of Ty and Ryan doing their chores....yep, sheer bliss.....

Posting Guard

Last night Vicki read this message she got on her phone about how if you hear banging on your house at night to not go outside because it is this group of thugs going around trying to lure people out of their houses so they can attack them outside and then go in their house to rob them.  She was scared and told us and the boys.  The boys loaded up all their weapons and put their knives in easy access places.  Vicki decided to sleep with them and dragged a mattress into their room and took Bella.  They took Jasper and posted him on guard.  This is the view from Vicki’s phone sleeping on the floor looking up at the bottom bunk, Ryan’s where Jasper sat duty for the night!  These kids are too cute!  We told them all would be fine, people like that do NOT pick houses with vehicles that show that a Marine lives there let alone a neighborhood filled with Marines and our alarm system is awesome if anyone tried to break in.  But, they all still slept together and nobody came and Jasper did his job sitting guard.
