Tortilla Chips

Grandpa gave Gabriella a tortilla chip....Gabriella had never been given a WHOLE tortilla chip before. I love how Gabriella is looking at her mom like, hmmmm, Gramps gave it to me so I guess I can have it!!! 😂😂😂 She enjoyed her chips and only had to have a few toooo big pieces pulled out of her mouth!!!

Walking Old Town In April

Sea World was getting SUPER crowded so we decided to head to Old Town to walk around and eat a late lunch/early dinner. Gabriella fell asleep on the quick ride over! She didn't stay asleep for long but had a little nap in the stroller while we walked around. Thank goodness she woke up happy from her power nap!!!

Walking With Gramps

Grandpa seems to be Gabriella's favorite mode of transportation! She began her day at Sea World in the Tula.


Next it was time for snacks waaay up high on Gramps shoulders.


However it is Gabriella sure loves her Grandpa. I think she likes being up high!

Great Grandma Miks Panda Blanket

Grandma Mik (Jackie Mikolajcik) made this cute panda blanket for Jorden (Jorden Kite) waaaaay back in 1991. It went thru him, Victoria, Ty and Ryan and atleast a million washes before it was packed away. Now it has made its appearance again for round two with Gabriella!

Funny Photo Time!

I have sooo much fun taking silly pictures with Gabriella!!! I might have 3 pictures of me with my Grandma....😭😭😭 I wish I had more and definitely silly ones!!! I hope Gabriella likes these someday as much as I like them right now!!!

Curry For Dinner

First Sink Bath

The mermaid had her first sink bath!!! She had played hard all day and finished at the beach so she definitely needed a bath! At first she wasn't quite sure what to think of it....so she screamed. 😂 But after a few minutes she sat down and just looked around. After her first big splash it was all over!!!! She had soooo much fun splashing and getting us wet!!!! We couldn't stop laughing. Boy was there a mess when she was done! But it was only water, so easy clean up and now my floors are mopped as well!!! 😃

Sun Butter!

I discovered something amazing!!! They now make Sun Butter!!! It's like peanut butter but not made with peanuts!!! It is made with sunflower seeds!!!! Ed is allergic to peanuts and has always been bummed he can't eat it. Especially when deployed!!! I bought a jar for him and he loved it!!!! On the downside I kept finding spoons with Sun Butter residue on the counter!!! 🤣 The jar was gone in two days!!! I will now be buying multiple jars of this each week! 😂😂😂

Last Decal

Forever we have had to go to the Base Vehicle Registration office every couple of years. This was always a couple hours of time, waiting in lines, going to various windows to show documents for vehicle and proof of registration to renew our car decal or get a new decal when we purchased a new vehicle. When I got this last decal I was already dreading April 2018 to renew it. Little did I know that decals were going to be a thing of the past by 2018! Ed removed the decal from the jeep as soon as the order came out that they were no longer needed. I'm more of a sentimental type so I told Ed I would remove it April of 2018. Ed removed my decal today. I've had a decal on my vehicle almost my entire life! I've now entered a new chapter! 😃😂

Coaster Ride To The Padres Game

We decided to take the Coaster to Petco Park for the Padres Game. It was great to not have to drive and deal with traffic!


The ocean views were beautiful!


We were able to just talk and have fun. Ed was NOT enjoying my picture taking!!!







Coming home was a different story. Since it was a week night there is only one ride back and that was at 11:30 pm!!! I was fine however Ed was NOT liking getting home at 1:30 am!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Padres Game

April 2 2018
Victoria got Ed and I tickets to go to the Padres Game with them. We had a fun time at our first game of the season! We haven't been to a Padres Game since we've been back in America!



Trevor Hoffman signed Jorden's base ball at one of the Padres games we went to a very long time ago! We stopped for a quick minute to watch the Fox Sports announcers.


It was fun to be at Gabriella's first baseball game. She looked sooo cute in her Padres outfit and was soooo good!!!! 😊
