Delivering Gifts

Office Cleaning

Ed needed to zip into work to get some stuff done. Unfortunately the power was out for the day so he couldn't get anything done on his computer. Sooo, instead he got his whole office cleaned except to vacuum the floors. Ryan was the duster😂

I showed Vicki the secret window I discovered a little while back. I've walked by this window atleast a 100 times and had no idea you could just go up and buy a fresh hand made tortilla! Vicki is very happy to know about this window! 😃

Tears & Cookies

Cassidy passed away this morning....she wasn't ever able to get stable enough to be flown from Greece to Germany. My heart hurts for her family.....I had only scheduled myself to work Monday next week so I could get some projects done before my long term started. I had told my coworker, Cassidy's mom, that I would work for her during the transplant surgery that was coming up. Cassidy had liver cancer and her mom was going to give her her liver. But now I will start the long term on Tuesday until my sweet friend is ready to come back to work. My heart hurts....she had just turned 18.....so I pretty much just baked all day....I don't even know how many dozen cookies I made....just a LOT of Noel & PB Kiss cookies today....

Cardio By and In the Water Today

I split my cardio into 4 phases today. The weather was gorgeous and I couldn't decide where I wanted to get my cardio done today, so just went to each place I was deciding between


First I hit the pier and all along that beach area.


Next it was the Harbor and a quick hello to the Sea Lions that have begun to return! The little pup was too cute!!!


And than it was time to take off my shoes and socks and walk the beach on base. I went home and worked on some projects and than headed to the pool to swim laps! Afternoon temps on Mainside was 75* 😃Haven't done a pool bath in awhile! Really saves time on getting ready!!! 😂

Jumanji 2017

We decided to catch a movie today. We went and saw Jumanji. The first one was definitely better but this one was entertaining. I don't think the Christmas tree will be up much longer so took a quick picture before all signs of Christmas are gone until later this year.

Ewww Grass!

We sat down in the grass to eat our food from our neighborhood Christmas party. We took Gabriella out of the stroller and sat her down on the grass with us. She was not fond of that green stuff she was sitting on! It was quite funny to watch her!

Who Works This Phone Line?

I cross these tracks regularly either on foot or in my car. This sign always has me wondering a few things....

1. Were there enough suicides there to warrant this sign being put up?

2. How many people has this sign saved?

3. Who works this job? Do they cover several phone lines on their shift? If the line rings does the person know which track phone it is? Are there cameras at the tracks so the person working can see whose calling?

I wonder if I'll ever know the answers to all those questions.....

A Memorable Parking Photo

I always take a few landmark pictures where we park when we will be doing a lot of walking so I don't lose our car. Today's landmark photo was quite memorable. I'm trying to think what they once advertised...boxer briefs? Swim suits? I guess I'll never know. But it was definitely easy to see them street level since we had parked on the roof!!! No problem finding our way back to our car today! 😂😂😂
