One More Baby Tooth To go!

Vicki is sooo close to braces!!!  Her Orthodontist will not put her in braces until all her baby teeth are out.  He says we will just be paying for time not needed and i am fine with that!  She lost her second to last baby tooth.  Only one more to go and than she will have a mouth filled with metal!  Yay Vicki!!!

We Found Baldy!

I am not sure how we have NEVER seen this nest before!

One of the things we wanted to accomplish over Spring Break was find the Bald Eagle by Ed's work.  He knew approximatley where it was located.....we just had to find the right dead tree....on the water.....amongs all the other trees..... once we left the base and were on the bridge.....If you know where we live you would know why i laughed when he gave me our first clues to find this awesome bird!  We had spent the day at the beach on base so we went out the gate at Court House Bay and began looking for a dead tree amongs all the other trees along the water.....BAM!!!  There is was!  Like how have we always missed it?!!!  Soo cool!  The boys aren't interested in our next adventure to get closer to this giant nest, but Ed and i are going so i can get some good pictures!  We were lucky that Baldy was home, sitting there all proud in his mansion looking out over America!

M&M's For Sharing....NOT

Have you seen the new packaging for M&M's?  They used to say "King Size".....but not anymore.  I don't think people really want to know that they are eating King Size proportions and soooooo the M&M Industry was clever in changing their packaging to say "Sharing Size".  Now when i buy my "sharing size" bag of M&M's i can feel good about the large bag of fat because i am going to SHARE it!!!  Yeah, get serious!!! I am NOT going to SHARE my BIG bag of M&M's!!!  I am going to eat them all by myself!!!  Every last one of them!!!  The saying "M&M's makes friends" is soooo untrue because NOBODY shares their M&M's!!!!  BUT.......i can feel good about buying the SHARING SIZE with the full intent of SHARING my M&M's!!!  Mwaahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

Ty's Expert Opinion

Ryan hollered at me a few Saturday mornings ago to come look at his toe.  He said that he did not like what was going on between his little piggies.  Ty Hollered back that he would look at Ryan's foot.  I came in and found Ty examining Ryan's toe.  Ty looked up and said, "in my expert opinion i believe that Ryan has Athletes Foot!"  Ryan said, "but i am not an athlete, the skin between my toes just itches and stings!" 

Every Day I'm Shuffling

When we were in Hollywood over Christmas holiday there was a shirt we saw on every corner that Vicki and Ty said they just had to have!  And here it is....

Ryan's Got His Swag On!

I went to wake up Ty for school and noticed that there was an outfit lying on the floor.  I turned the light on real quick and saw that Ty had laid out an outfit for Ryan last night and had put a note on it.  As Ty was climbing out of bed I asked him about it.  He said Ryan needed to get his swag on and stop wearing cargo pants with holes in the knees and so he laid out some of his clothes for Ryan to wear to school that Friday morning.  Later when it was time to wake up Ryan and Ty had already left for school I showed Ryan what his big brother had left him.  Ryan replied with his normal, “huh”.  But when he came to the kitchen for breakfast he had on Ty’s clothes!  Vicki said, “Ryan, you look great!”  Ryan just replied with his normal, “huh”.  Ty was excited when he saw Ryan getting off the bus that afternoon wearing his clothes.  I think Ryan thought it was pretty cool too.  Unfortunately, he still prefers cargo pants, especially if they have holes in the knees!





First Fox Hunt

Vicki went with some friends on her first Fox Hunt.  She has really been able to embrace the country life down here at this Duty Station! Her friend won a giant trophy and Vicki decided she would rather hang with the puppy in training! She said it was really fun! I'm glad she is having the opportunity to see how people live all over and not just growing up with a mind that only sees things from one perspective!
