Little Gabby Li loves to look at herself on my phone. We end up taking lots of photos and videos. These are the non blurry and non eating my phone pixs!


I was telling Gabriella to say cheese. She had me cracking up! I have a pretty good idea what her kindergarten school pictures are going to look like if the photographer says 'say cheese'. 😂😂😂

Alluded Again

Mermaid Bella

Bella was a mermaid this year for Halloween. There were a few times she was a merman. When she shook her head really hard her hair slid under her chin into a beard! She isn't a fan of Halloween! 😂

Favorite Trick or Treaters 2017

These were definitely my favorite Trick or Treaters this year! Of course Ed sees this picture and immediately replies with 'why is my hood unlatched?' Like seriously! His wife and grand daughter are about to be devoured by T-Rex's and he only cares about his truck!!! 😩🤣😩🤣😩🤣😩🤣😩

Corn Maze 2017

We decided to hit the Carlsbad Corn Maze today because what is Fall without getting lost in a corn maze on a hot day?!!! 😂 Lucky for us Gabby Li slept the whole time, which was kinda surprising because it was a bumpy ride for her! 😬🤣😬



We had a map and and airiel view when we entered....both were useless....


We were lost pretty much upon entering! I need East West etc and street signs....we decided to just wander and thought we would probably just end up back at the entrance....


We were sooo lost we decided to cut thru some of the corn stalks....amazing that Gabriella didn't wake up during those very tossy turvey times!!! But that didn't help and we were still just as lost!


Victoria was as clueless as me! Somehow we ended up with two cute little ones. The little girl was singing us Moana songs as we wandered aimlessly thru the corn so that was fun! 😄



We decided to join the group that the cute little kids belonged to. My ch more fun to be lost with others!!!





And....we finally found our way out! And a bonus it was actually the exit!!! Gabriella slept they her first corn maze! 😂

Spacers In

Ryan gets braces next week. Today the spacers were put in. He knows his mouth is going to start hurting soon sooooo he decided on two dinners! First one was a big burger at Johnny Rockets and second dinner was his orange chicken with noodles and rice at Panda. Hopefully he is filled up! Can you tell he's thrilled about his mouth getting invaded? 😂😂😂

Gabriella's First Pumpkin Patch

Ella's Kangaroo

Gabriella can really pull off her Grandpas expressions these days!!! He sent her a cute little kangaroo from Australia and here's the face she made when we took a picture of her for Grandpa!



We couldn't help but caption this as 'Grandpa went all the way to Australia and all he sent me was a kangaroo! How about a new onsie?!!!!' 😂😂😂

Lunch With Vicki

I took today off since it is a short day. I had a ton of things to get caught up on! Vicki & Gabriella came up to spend a few days with us. Vicki wanted to take me to lunch at the Harbor at one of my favorite places!!! It was funny ordering the small Fish N Chips basket since I didn't have my other half with me! We usually get the 3 fish basket. One for me and two for him. This time I got all the fries!


I sent this picture to Ed so he could guess where we were eating lunch. This random guy makes me laugh!!! 😂😂😂

The Other Side

The Dude In Cammies requested a video chat last night around 11:30. I told him I was already in bed and the mermaid and her mamma were sound asleep on his side of the bed. He laughed when I sent him the picture of what his side of the bed looked like.

Dental With Ryan

Ice Cream & Post Cards

The boys are at the golf range tonight for Young Men's so after dropping them off I decided to go to the Harbor. I haven't showered since I got out of the ocean snorkeling this afternoon. My hair just dried as it was, probably kelp or sea grass in my hair right now for all I know! I'm sure I look a hot mess but decided to go get an ice cream and write out Ed's post cards. I try to send a post card from everywhere we were, even when we haven't gone anywhere far, just so he gets a little snap shot of home and what we did. Whoever was sitting at the table before me spilled a french fry. I put it on the wall and watched a bird eye it for awhile. He finally came over and got it. Perfect evening for a perfect day. Really enjoy this duty station!

Snorkel Fun

We were originally heading out to snorkel with the Leopard sharks that normally arrive at this time every year. For some reason they are hanging out off shore right now. So we decided to snorkel La Jolla Cove instead. We had a great time! Tera came with her dad and daughter and Ryan thought it would be fun to join me. There were LOTS of fish and the water was perfect! The sea lions were right there in the water with us as well! The first couple of shadows I saw swimming under and around me made my heart skip a beat! For a split second I thought they were sharks! But than realized they were just sea lions zipping under and around us! Sooo fun! Great day! Ryan loved it!!! We will zip back next month and see if our shark friends have moved to the shore line so we can snorkel with them! 😃
