We have these shrubs in the front of the house under the bedroom windows that we are not fond of. They are only there because they came with the house. They bloom into these beautiful pink flowers twice a year, but only for 2 weeks at a time. The rest of the year they are just ugly bushes. Ed has been talking about tearing them out for about 2 years now……Whelp, he was done talking. I came home and found they were gone! He said we need to go shopping! Sooo, we looked at every shrub in this part of North Carolina and decided on what we were going to replace the yucky looking now gone shrubs with. I guess we will see how these will look day in and day out over all the seasons and decide if these are keepers or not……..I hope they are keepers! It was a lot of work! Or at least NOT do this next time when we are at 100% humidity and in the 90’s!!!

I love yardwork!! It looks good! Hope they all last. I finally gave up as my house faces the West and the sun was killing everything I planted! What wasn't killed was eaten by the darn deer! lol
