Goodmorning From Jasper

The Dude In Cammies had to leave for work at 5 something....I fell back asleep....I woke up to Jasper barking in my face and than him pinning me down trying to kiss my face! he is a crack up! I was cracking up at his persistence! Later when The Dude In Cammies got home I was folding clothes and Jasper cuddled up with him. That dog is such a baby! I think the shots The Dude In Cammies had yesterday are kicking in.....they took a nap together.....he sure loves his dog!!! 

Home Teaching Twins

They ended up as twins going home teaching tonight! I hadn't washed whites yet because I knew I didn't need to before Sunday....ooops, forgot about their home teaching appointments! Ryan wore one of Ty's shirts and than a sweater over it because it was too big. I thought they looked adorable but I can't use that word in reference to them!!!

After Game Chit Chat

I sooooo love that Ed is here this football season to talk to Ty after his games!!! He just knows what to ask and all that stuff!!! I am quite the lame football dad!!!!

Always Get His Back Side!

I always seem to get his back side.....or a hand over my camera....even when I think I am being sly with my phone.....he just keeps spinning around, and here is a perfect example of how hard I have to work to get a picture of his front side!

 

The Hamster Ball

The Fall Festival had a really fun venue! A giant hamster ball! Vicki tried it first. She crawled in, the guy strapped her in, she had handles to hold on to, and than he rolled her all over the lawn. She loved it!

working this venue there was only one person allowed

The Biggest Army Horse Home

This isn't the Army's biggest horse. Their biggest horse is enjoying his week out to pasture this week running around being a horse but this was their biggest horse at the stable. He was as gentle as could be.  Every time we came in he always put his head out and wanted to socialize. Ed loved him.

Bull Dog Uniform

The Dude In Cammies wears many uniforms these days.....he is busy! Today he wore a Marine Corps baseball uniform. His team won and he had a LOT of fun! Baseball is one of his favorite things to play. 

Spring Break Begins, Monday

Spring Break has begun!!! It is Monday! Day one at the beach!!!

Grocery Shopping With All 3 Boys

This is what happens when i go grocery shopping with the boys.....i just wanted to go thru the express line at the Commissary......i still went thru the express line.....they played crash em up with their cart, or as The dude in Cammies calls it, the 'buggy'.

It's Dark Jeans Today

The Dude In Cammies has to wear these shirts when he is off to different events with his horse and than he changes into his Cammies or Blues pending what the event is when they get there. His shirts are different colors. I guess they are wearing black today so he is in dark jeans....something I have not seen in a LONG time!!!! I think it's a Blues event today and he won't be riding his blonde, Chue, but will be riding Dean, a brunette. We had much teasing in the texting banter while he was at the stables early this morning getting ready to go to San Juan Capistrano. I just love that he has finally caved and takes selfies for me!

Throw Back Thursday

It's a Throw Back Thursday! This is one of my favorite pictures of the boys.  Ty and Ryan were getting tired with all the walking we were doing and so Ed and Jorden each put one up on 

their shoulders so they could rest their tired legs.  The boys were VERY happy to be up high and off of their feetsers!!! This was a fun trip we took to the States from Okinawa back in 2007 and we did a LOT of walking when we were in Michigan seeing many sites all over the upper peninsula of Michigan and in Canada before heading to California.  

Road Trip Day Three

Ed lost a bet with Vicki on a math thingy so he has to wear her stripe socks today! They checked out of their hotel this morning in Oklahoma and made it to Flagstaff Arizona by nightfall! They have been zipping across America!!! They stoped in Albequerque this afternoon to see my family for a few hours and were even able to see my Grandma Mary! They had a late lunch with my Dad and Michelle and Mary and Ed said they had delicious Mexican food!

Black & Brown Make Me Frown

I was wearing black and brown today. When i wear black and brown Vicki always says, "Black and Brown makes me frown!" So i sent this picture with Vicki's little rhyme to Ed and Vicki. Just in case they were missing me.....

Road Trip Day Two

They headed out of Mississippi and sent me this picture......the next text came from Arkansas......and they stopped in Oklahoma! They are quite the road trippers!!! They seem to be having fun and they haven't killed each other yet!!!! And the jeep is still going strong!!! All is good!

Road Trip Day One

These two are so silly! They had a great first travel day of their road trip to Barstow! They went from North Carolina, to South Carolina, to Georgia, and ended their Day One in Alabama! They are both still alive and the jeep is still running! All is good on the road trip to California!

Not Used To This!

Totally not used to this! Empty closet.......empty drive way.......and Vicki is the one heading out to the next duty station!  This is just all kinds of backwards!!!  His vehicles have always been left behind when he leaves, only his uniforms have left the closet, and Vicki scouting out our next duty station?!!! Yep, just all kinds of crazy!!! But they made it to Alabama!

Empty Driveway

I came home today to an empty driveway.....soooo weird.......whenever The Dude in Cammies has been gone his vehicles have been left behind. But this time he took his jeep with him and now the drive way is empty.....the house looks so sad without his jeep there.....ugh!

Driving Away....With VICKI!!!

I'm the Mom, the Marine Wife....it's my double job to watch the Marine and my daughter drive away and wave until i see them no more....and than of course wipe away the tear drops and walk back into work with a smile like i will see them tonight at the dinner table.  The life of a Marine Wife....i dare someone to try it for a day....well a day when they are away....well a day when they are away with a gun, while being shot at, in a foreign country, with no laws, and not allowed to shoot back at the people shooting at them, and not sure if the people they are with will be shooting them.....try it on one of those days....those are the harder days.....this is actually an easy day.....i could call him right now if i wanted to, but i won't because he is still on base and he can't talk on his phone on base and i need to get back to my classroom......  

He Knows....He's Sad

Jasper knows his best friend is leaving.....the jeep is packed....this dog wears his feelings right smack on his face!!! This guy has had to say good bye a lot, not as many times as we have had to, but he doesn't know that....sometimes i wonder if it is harder on a Marines dog than it is on a Marines furless family members on the seperation part...just another one of those questions on my list to be answered in the after life....

Leah Helps, With One

The dog food dish got knocked over. Dog food went everywhere! I called the dogs over to help with the clean up hoping that maybe they were a little hungry! Leah comes running over! She gets some dog food in her mouth and goes over to the carpet and spits it out. Yep, she was a HUGE help picking up her ONE piece of dog food! She kills me! The biggest dog in the house picks up just one lil piece of dog food! But, that was more than any of the other dogs....Soooo, Ed swept it up and threw it away since there was a bunch of dog hair in the pile he had swept up!
