Alice Has Been Replaced

Looks like Alice has been replaced with Chewy!!! And a lunch box to match! Someone was VERY happy to see these!

The Purge Scared Us All

Ed and I were flipping thru the channels this afternoon while he was icing his knee. The movie The Purge was just starting. We decided to watch it since it was edited for TV. Wellllllllllll, it was STILL totally scary and I couldn't even watch half of it! I think I freaked the dogs out too! Bella was watching intently while laying on Eds chest and Leah backed into the corner and peeked over the couch while watching and letting out little cries. It was quite hilarious watching them!

Sometimes I End Up With Friends I Don't Even Want!

Ty and Ryan were talking about making friends again when we move and we were saying how that would suck if Ty had to go to a new school his senior year and start all over again. He laughed and said, "it wouldn't be hard because everyone just thinks I'm really nice and so people just always start talking to me.....Sometimes I end up with friends I don't even want!" That had us all laughing....yes he will be fine if he moves his senior year! 

Mom Can Beat Us All

The boys were talking about swimming and how I am the best swimmer of the family. The boys were saying how none of them could beat me. Ed says, "I've beat Mom before!" Ty and Ryan both laughed and said, "NO WAY!!!" Ed says that he did beat me before and I said, "I must have been pregnant!!!" Ed laughed and said, "yes you were!!!" We laughed and he said it was the Miramar pool. I laughed and said I had to have been almost 9 months pregnant at that pool. He said I was and that he has to take whatever advantage he can get racing me in a pool! We teased Ryan telling him he was the one that gave dad the advantage because I had an actual human being hanging out inside my tummy causing some serious drag!!! 

The Hershey Guy

Ty: I'm forever going to hold the Hershey guy against you guys. 

Me: What?

Ty: Dad said he'd give me 20 bucks to tackle the Hershey guy and I wish I would have!

Me: I'm sure we'll be in Vegas again Ty.

Ty: Wow, that's not really an answer a mom would give, like something I should have on video or something.

Mop Baseball

Never a dull moment shopping with these two...they actually played baseball with my little football and a mop! The ball went pretty far!!! Than they spent a LOT of time ramming into each other....There's a reason I grocery shop by myself!!!

Ty, Hair, Food....Ty...

Ty cracks me up! He just gets out of the shower, dries his hair with the towel, throws on some clothes and walk out the door. He also eats Panda Express at In N Out.....it's just how he rolls....ya can't help but love him 😍

Ryan's Root Beer Party Keg

Anyone who KNOWS Ryan knows that he LOVES root beer! Root beer and cheeseburgers are his two favorite foods. Soooo, when Uncle Rick said he had a Keg of Root Beer that needed to be finished before we left Ryan's eyes got SUPER big and he had a grin to match those eyes! He and Ed got busy getting it opened up and everyone had fun drinking root beer! Of course Ryan had the first glass to give us his review and he said it was awesome!  And for some reason while Ed and Ryan were getting the can ready to open Ed picks up the keg and shakes it. I asked, "Ed, why are you shaking a giant can of soda?" He looked at me with that grin he has and said, "I don't know....I don't know why I do lots of things...." We all started laughing. Ryan did LOTS of tapping on the top of the giant can of root beer!!!!! Ed took the keg and held it over his sisters head and pretended to open it. Brothers and sisters never stop tormenting each other!!!! But the root beer was REALLY good!!!! I think there might be a keg of root beer under the Christmas tree!!!

I always seem to get his back side.....or a hand over my camera....even when I think I am being sly with my phone.....he just keeps spinning around, and here is a perfect example of how hard I have to work to get a picture of his front side!

 

He Needed Black Socks....

I took Ty cleat shopping today. I pointed out the Batman cleats and he said, "No Mom! SUPERMAN!!!" I guess I know where he stands on the whole Batman Superman debate.

It's A Hypothesis....

Ryan and i went out for a frozen yogurt. While he was eating i noticed the shirt he was wearing was getting small on him. It is one of his favorite shirts and i remembered when it was actually too big on him! Now i could see the bones of his shoulders at the seams, the seams that no longer were lower than his shoulders!!
I said, "Ryan you have been growing! That shirt is getting too small on you. What have you been doing to grow?!!!
Ryan continued shoveling in his frozen yogurt and just kind of looked over at me. In between bites he nonchalantly said this...."If you scream at grass it will grow. Vicki is always yelling at me, so I'm growing.....(long pause) It's a hypothesis Mom. And he just continued eating his frozen yogurt while i almost choked on mine cracking up! He is sooo funny! I love these times just chit chatting with him.  

Accidental PJ's To School

The kids were teasing me about checking my shoes before I leave for work because i had worn a black boot and a brown boot to work  before and Ty says,
When I was in 3rd grade on Okinawa I got all the way down to the playground at school and looked down and realized I was in my Jammies!!! I ran home soooo fast to change!!!"
We all cracked up and I said "I never knew that...what Jammie's?"
Ty: "That isn't something you talk about in 3rd grade! They were Star Wars with Qui Gon Jinn on the front"
We were laughing at how he had to have been freaking out realizing he was in his jammies at school!! And even funnier how we never knew this until now!!!
Soooo funny!!!!

I'll Raise Your Straw Hat....

Look Closely

Yes, this is Jasper lost under my sheets.....he couldn't get out and got all panicky!!! Crazy dog!! he was trying to get his tennis ball and somehow got his ball lost and himself lost! It was hilarious! He is like having a permanent toddler who can transform into a vicious killer anytime someone 5 doors down goes out to check their mailbox!
