I Love Ford

I just adore Ford.....I love all the horses but Ford is my VERY favorite. I make sure to spend time with each of the horses, they all get chit chats and loves but Ford is just my sweetheart. I totally love his bangs! He lets me braid them,  swoop them to the sides, part them down the middle and tuck behind his ears, pretty much whatever I want to do. He is always nuzzling on me and will chew on my arm but never use his teeth to bite me. When I go out to the pasture he will come to me and when I leave he follows me and wants to go with me out the gate! He hasn't been trained yet, so he is never gone so I get to see him all the time! he is one of the youngest ones there, so he should be there for a pretty long time.

Hot Dog On A Stick

First official day if California I had to go to Hot Dog On A Stick! I used to work for the original owner of these stores. I opened several stores for the founder while managing one of his stores back in the 80's. I had a yummy cheese stick and Vicki had the lemonade. It was delicious!!! I'm not sure how many years it has been....a lot!

I Am 46 Today

WOW!!! I am 46 years old today!!!  It has been quite the week!!! We are packing out of our house, my best friend has been gone for about a year and a half now and I had a fake miscarriage.....it has been quite the week! Atleast now I know why all my pants are sooo frickin' tight!!! Relieved I am NOT pregnant and now just hoping I can drive across country without any complications!!!! I guess I was noy going thru metaphause the last couple of months and The Dude In Cammies vasectomy is still holding. Just me getting older and my eggs not really sure what to do and probably one just stuck around and started doing its thing without anything else and than decided since there wasn't anything else coming to finally detach and flush out. That was a mess yesterday in the middle of packing out. Still feel horrible but relieved today and a little easier to smile with the relief that I am NOT pregnant!!! LOL Now to just hopefully start fitting into my pants in the near future!!! I'm down to only 3 pair that still button!!! Happy Birthday To Me!!! The kids chose Mike's Farm. Nothing really tastes good right now, but it was fun being with my kiddos and out of the house for a bit.....

Woke Up To Growls And A Stare Down

OH MY GOSH!!! Woke up to all these low deep in the chest growls and feeling all this pulling in my hair.....as i slowly opened my eyes and began to relaize what i was seeing and hearing it was Bella and Jasper having a stare down at each other with the sary "i'm gonna tear you to peices" growling going on. I had felt Bellas little paws digging into my head and pulling my hair, like she was digging for something but i had no idea what these 2 dogs were all in each others face over. I grabbed Bella and got up and felt something fall out of my hair and land on the carpet. It was a piece of Jasper's tennis ball!!! Jasper has had this tennis ball since early June always carying it around in his mouth. A few days ago he finally broke thru it and began shredding it. This is all that is left of it and Bella had stolen it from him and hid it in my hair when he came for it. Jeez!!! Crazy dogs!!! It was quite the site to wake up too!!!

Finished My Board!

I started this several months ago! Today I decided to get busy and paint my board and get this done!! I loved both these quotes so my board is reversible! This is soooo our family!

While I was painting Bella had her snout buried in the grass hunting crickets. She found and ate several. Jasper tried to get in on the action but had no success. It was so funny to watch them, kinda gross too! Bella LOVES her cricket snacks!!!

Gonna Wash That Gray Right Out Of My Hair!

The Dude In Cammies said to color my hair! Sooo, my friend Maren did just that in her garage! I am back to more of my natural color now. I like it. When I got home Ty and Ryan were both like "ah! Ohhhhh....eh? And ewwww!" Ryan kept saying "Stranger Danger" whenever he saw me and both of them were like "I don't even know who you are!!!" I guess I've had white hair for a LONG time!

The Dude In Cammies LOVES it and said to never change it. I sent him a variety of pictures....

100% Californian!

Even after all my moves and even living overseas for 9 years i guess I know where I am from! Actually I just knew how to answer the questions! I really wouldn't drive to another town to take recyclables if I was visiting someone and they didn't have recycling pick up in their town! And no, the Taco Truck does NOT make me hungry but again, I just knew how to answer the questions! Lol

Yep, have been at this duty station tooo long!!! This So Cal island girl has now turned SOUTHERN!!! Oh my! I would have had an epic FAIL on this test last duty station! I am definitely becoming well rounded being married to my Marine!

Not The Breakfast Of Champions

Wow!! Have not had Cap'n Crunch in a LONG time!!! Yep, still yummy :) Nope, not the breakfast of champions but definitely a fun Summer Saturday morning breakfast! I think I will have some pineapple and cherries too.....have something a little healthy to start my Saturday off!!!

Aqua Spin With Ryan

Ryan came to Aqua Spin with me today. he likes this class. he came with me all the time last summer! Bronwyns daughter, Elizabeth, came with her today, so we dubbed it 'Bring Your Youngest To Spin Class' day. We had a fun work out!

Aqua Bootcamp

Vicki and I went to a new class today. It was from 8:30-10:00 am at the New River gym. It was a great class. Vicki and I were the only girls. The mermaids, me and Vicki, totally dominated the deep water part of the work out. Vicki dominated the whole class, the little show off. Just kidding. She did totally awesome! I was dying with the land part! The sit ups, squats, and push ups were kicking my booty! And planking alternating with push ups, TOTALLY not my thing! But it was a great class and definitely want to keep doing this class!!!

Hurricane Drink

I stopped at Sonic and got my favorite drink to ride out the hurricane with. Cherry Chocolate coke will be my buddy while I watch TV tonight.

Patriotic Toes

Mine and Vicki's toes were in desperate need of a pedicure. We decided to go today before Hurricane Arthur hit. I managed to survive. My feet are super ticklish so it is kinda torturous for me but my feet needed this done big time! I managed not to kick the guy and now I have cute toes! Vicki and I left with nautical patriotic toes! While we were getting out toes done our area went into a State of Emergency, things were shutting down and so Vicki's recruiter came into the nail salon to get the rest of the signatuures he needed from me. The paperwork The Dude in Cammies had sent from Wyoming with his signiture for Vix to go into the Army underage had come in and so the Recruiter wanted to get all the paperwork in before the 4th of July long weekend holiday and before they closed down the recruiting office since they were closing early to get everyone home to have time to secure their homes before Arthur hit later tonight. Now that was one LONG sentance!!! So, paperwork got submitted and our toes turned out pretty darn cute!!!

All Girls Walking

All the girls went for a walk this morning together. I took Jasper after. Bella did her normal 2 poops and of course Leah NEVER poops in public! She will stop mid poop if she sees you looking at her in the backyard, so when she is pooping we avoid looking at her! Bella is a pooper! I had seen her poop in the back yard before we left and than she gave me 2 piles to pick up on our 30 minute walk. Silly girl! She has gained 4 pounds since she had her "no babies with Jasper" surgery so she is getting daily walks to keep the lil piggie from getting any fatter!!!

Sad News

Thursday

I was picking up a couple things from SAMs Club when my Dad called. My Grandma Mary doesn't have much time left....she's been put into hospice. I know this will be a welcome relief for her and there will be a sweet reunion when she reaches the other side.....but I will miss not having her here on earth. I was hoping she would hang on long enough for me to see her if the house rents and the kids and I drive out to California. I'm glad Vicki and Ed saw her in January right after her 100th birthday when they drove to Barstow. Her memory has been gone for years and lately her body has been continually slowing down.....she has lived for an entire century, so i guess that happens....She has been the most awesome grandma! I have just totally wonderful memories with her that I will never ever forget. I do hope and pray that she can leave this life peacefully and without pain...the part about growing older that really sucks is your favorite people start slowing down and leaving planet earth....

Not Batman, SUPERMAN!

I took Ty cleat shopping today. I pointed out the Batman cleats and he said, "No Mom! SUPERMAN!!!" I guess I know where he stands on the whole Batman Superman debate.

Peach Sweet Tea Yogurt

Tried another one of those new yogurts. Yep, it was good! Quite peachy and sooo yummy!!!

It's A Hypothesis....

Ryan and i went out for a frozen yogurt. While he was eating i noticed the shirt he was wearing was getting small on him. It is one of his favorite shirts and i remembered when it was actually too big on him! Now i could see the bones of his shoulders at the seams, the seams that no longer were lower than his shoulders!!
I said, "Ryan you have been growing! That shirt is getting too small on you. What have you been doing to grow?!!!
Ryan continued shoveling in his frozen yogurt and just kind of looked over at me. In between bites he nonchalantly said this...."If you scream at grass it will grow. Vicki is always yelling at me, so I'm growing.....(long pause) It's a hypothesis Mom. And he just continued eating his frozen yogurt while i almost choked on mine cracking up! He is sooo funny! I love these times just chit chatting with him.  

Hot Day Cool Night Treat

Ryan was my buddy all afternoon today. On our way home tonight we stopped at Peach Tree and got ourselves some yummy frozen yogurt. It was a hot day today!

He's such a cute kid!!! Just love him! He always has the funniest things to say! Ryan has this crazy mind that just takes things in and than sends them back out in just the funniest of ways.
