Reading On My Favorite Dock

I LOVE it when i get those rare days at work where i get off work an hour or so early!!! Especially when it is gorgeous outside!!! I take me book and make the quick few minutes drive to my favorite dock on base and just dangle my feet over the edge and read whatever book I'm reading. If i don't happen to have a book on me, which is rare, than i will go check one out of the school library real quick! Today i had started the first book in a series about some sort of vampire mermaids.....my brain is ready for some not real stuff in this crazy world we live in with VERY real yucky stuff going on!!!

Enjoying A Sunday Afternoon Out Back

Jasper was just sitting in the backyard in the shade with his soccer ball like he wanted me to take his picture or something....so i did and sent it to his Daddy!

Jasper Waking Up Tank

Tank was sound asleep on my bed until Jasper jumped up there and started nudging sleeping Tank with his big ole snout! Tank glared at him for a few seconds and than began licking that big ole head of his. It was soooo sweet!!!!

Jasper And His Soccer Ball

Jasper LOVES his soccer ball!!! It is always nearby, even when he is sleeping....

I think he dreams of his soccer ball!!! Probably tennis balls too.....

When you are holding it he gets his total puppy dog look face going on....

It is the perfect chin rest for him when he is on the bed watching TV with you!

New Decal

We traded in the Camry for a new Camry.....while i was at work The Dude in Cammies got me a new decal. He takes good care of me!!!!!

I Want To Eat The Sperry's!!!

Leah REALLY wanted to eat these yummy smelling shoes of Ed's....but she refrained because she is the good dog.....she was giving me that look like she wanted to be the bad dog just once.....she is our tattle tale dog, she will come tell us whenever any of the other animals are getting in trouble! You could tell she was really torn with wanting to be naughty just once!!!

Lots of Driving!

During Spring Break we did LOTS of driving!!! Here are just a few of the pictures from inside our car.....we even managed to trade in our Toyota Camry for a new Camry somewhere along the way....

Ed and I rode The Volcano with Vicki. Was NOT expecting the blast off at the start! It was a totally fun roller coaster! LOVED it, as you can tell by my face!!!!

Lions, Tigers, &....Wait A Minute!!!

We went to Barefoot Landing today.  I took the kids last year when The Dude in Cammies was in Afghanistan, so this year Vicki and I took him to see the tiger cubs. We were totally surprised to find that they had LIGERS there today!!! I remember wondering if ligers were really real when the Napoleon Dynamite movie came out when we were stationed on Okinawa. Ty wrote a poem about them and confirmed to me that they were in fact real not too long after seeing the movie. Today we got to hold 2 of them! Vicki is holding a one month old liger that doesn't have any teeth yet, but VERY sharp claws, that is why she is holding that cute little fur ball sooooo far away from her!!! I would have had her cuddled up under my chin not caring about her lil daggers!!! I'm holding the 3 month old liger cub that had LOTS of teeth and who happened to be VERY hungry at the moment and VERY content with his bottle!!! He was HEAVY! His fur was sooooo soft!!! I just wanted to cuddle up with him!!! Ed has my new boyfriend. It was love at first sight.....the next post will explain......but it was definitely totally fun interacting with these sweet animals before we posed for this picture with them! Wish we lived closer, i would totally volunteer to work at this place and help care for these animals!!!

Grocery Shopping With All 3 Boys

This is what happens when i go grocery shopping with the boys.....i just wanted to go thru the express line at the Commissary......i still went thru the express line.....they played crash em up with their cart, or as The dude in Cammies calls it, the 'buggy'.

My Favorite Swimmer!

The Dude in Cammies saw that my favorite swimmer was going to be at the MCX for a meet and greet and so whala! I got to meet Ryan Lochte! He was a TOTAL sweetheart, did not expect that at all! He had spent the morning training with the Special Olympic swim team at one of the base pools. One of my friends i work with has a down syndrome daughter on the SO swim team and she said he was just beyond incredible with the kids. Always nice to see these super stars doing down to earth real with kids like Jess!

M&M Choices Keep Growing

Goodness, my M&M choices just keep growing! And whoever said M&M's make friends obviously does NOT like M&M's!!! I do NOT share my M&M's!!! I think my favorite is still peanut butter mixed with just plain chocolate. Not a fan of the coconut. I do like the mint. I'm not too keen on dark, pretzel, or birthday cake. I can eat the peanut ones but not if i have a choice between plain and peanut butter! These are the 3 flavors at the house right now. Nobody liked the birthday cake one....i wonder how long that flavor will sit around.....but that is my review on the current M&M flavors. 

Bella's Dr. Who Ears

Ryan LOVES Dr. Who. Bella LOVES Ryan and cuddling up with him while he is watching Dr. Who. It is hilarious to watch her ears as she listens as he is watching. Depending on who is talking and the music depends on what is going on with her ears....sometimes one is up one is down, one is back, one is side ways, sometimes  one or both are VERY pointy....she listens very intently!!! I think she is a Dr. Who fan also, but definitely a Ryan fan!!! Just love both these critters!!! 

Panda Express Dinner

The boys wanted Panda Express for dinner tonight before we went to the movies and saw 3 Days To Kill. Soooo, fine by me! Both boys wanted a bowl all to themselves so I I just got a side of noodles since I wasn't starving. Ty didn't want me to take a picture of him, so that was the best I could get to send to The Dude in Cammies.

Totally LOVE the noodles at Panda Express! Would be perfect if they sold the sauce from the orange chicken to pour over it, but soy sauce is good too. And yes, I eat my noodles with chopsticks and Oki Style!!!! Yeah, don't judge me......

Removing More Memories

Getting the house ready to rent means taking down all the little itty bitty pieces that make it a home....

Vicki made this collage for me our first time we were here for Mother's Day, back in 2010....It has been hanging on the kitchen cabinet ever since....The Dude in Cammies was in Afghanistan.... 

Throw Back Thursday 4-3-14

The Dude in Cammies is at a baseball game tonight with a bunch of Marines.....soooooo, i thought this would be a fun Throw Back Thursday for him.....

This was Ty's first year of baseball, it was First Steps, where the kids would play but always had to have a parent with them to shadow them at every position. Ryan wasn't old enough, but he was able to be out in the outfield and pretend to be shadowing Ty as well. It was so cute because Ryan would copy everything Ed would tell Ty to do. Ed coached Jorden's team with some of his buddies from the Hemet Police Department and Sandie and i were the team Mom's. It was a really fun season. Jorden's 2 best friends were Sandies boys and they were on the team and her husband, Jim is the police officer holding the banner with Ed. They were good friends of ours when we were stationed at Pendleton and lived in Hemet. Some fun baseball memories.  

Boys & Their Comic Books

What is up with boys and their comic books?!!! I went looking for the boys and found them in their room reading comic books! One of which had been in a box of Ty's Honey Nut Cheerios and the other one Ryan had got from a friend at church. I had just gotten off the phone with The Dude in Cammies and he had asked me what the boys were doing and i told him i had no idea and was going to go find them. So, i took a couple pixs so i could send them to him on his phone and make him laugh. We send LOTS of pictures back and forth! Thank goodness for technology!!! Glad the boys like to read all kinds of everything! So, this was tonight's reading!

Ty Playing Chess After School

Just a typical day after school when homework is done.....Ty has changed clothes to go to the gym and now he just sits and plays chess on his phone while he waits to work out and run....Leah and Bella keep watch......Leah is Ty's dog, so she is usually always close to wherever he is......

My Drive Coach

The weather is officially warm again so Jasper is going to the groomers for his Spring Cleaning!!! The carpets are getting cleaned tomorrow so he is getting cleaned and furminated before the carpets get all the dirt and fur sucked out of them! Vicki took this super cute picture from the back seat. She reluctantly gave up her front seat spot to Jasper and sat in the back with the boys, not her favorite spot to be, but we had to have Jasper sit on a sheet so the car didn't get his fur that he is shedding all over the place on the seats! He sat up there watching the road ever sooooo vigilantly as always does. It is his job to take care of us, and he does, even in the car! He has no idea that he has no idea what he is doing, it is hilarious! My drink was in the cup holder and i had to have my hand over my straw because he was just drooling all over the place as he kept his ever watchful beautiful brown eyes on the road!!! He occasionally barked to alert me to something.....not sure what, but he let me know to be aware of some impending danger....we dropped him off to be scrubbed, furminating to get that undercoat all pulled out, teeth brushed, nails done, all combed out.....he just looked beautiful when we picked him up after Scouts and Young Women's!!!   

20 Pounds Gone!

Vicki has had a rough 7 months! Her surgery last September really did a number on her and than her knee nightmare was another whammy but she has just continued to plug on and work thru the pain and she did it! she set a goal to loose 20 pounds that she aquired thru all the setbacks of not being able to keep to her normal work out routines and the 20 pounds is gone! She is one happy chica!!! Go Vicki!!! Way to never give up even when your body wouldn't let you do what you wanted to do!!!  It would have been sooo easy to just throw in the towel, but she didn't, she hung in there and thru blood, sweat, and tears, literally! She made it! She is back to a happy size 2 or 3 pending who the designer is. 

Evening Cardio After Weights

After our hour pilate class of endless curls with weights i went and did my evening cardio outside. It was gorgeous! so happy to have our cold weather behind us for good i think. Out of nowhere Vicki runs right by me! She left at the end of class and didn't do the leg work out to go get her run in. She was running fast!!!

Baby Tennis Balls!!!

Jasper is sooo excited about his Tennis Ball tree! He checks out his baby tennis balls constantly! I have to keep getting after to him to only sniff and NOT lick or pick!!! Last year he picked ALL the tennis balls!!! I would like some peaches this year!! Silly dog!!! There are over 200 baby tennis balls so i am hoping to get a few peaches!!! Maybe the ones way up high!!!
