Nightly Reading With Ryan
The boys have free time every day after school from the time they get off the bus until i get home from work...than it is homework time! First thing EVERY day is Ryan's 30 minutes of reading.....today we are reading from Heroes Don't Run, the sequel to A Boy No More that we just finished. H e didn't want to be in the picture to The Dude In Cammies, so he hid behind his book!
After School Reading
This is what i do just about every day after i get home from work. The boys know they have free time when they get off the bus until i get home from work and than it is home work time. I usually take a picture to send to The dude in Cammies of after school fun....he gets LOTS of pictures throughout the day....every day.....this was my selfie, not really a selfie because i like PEOPLE in my selfies because i am not really a 'selfie' person, so this is my shared selfie with Ryan who is ALWAYS elusive to a camera and chose to hide behind his book. But this is what we do first everyday when i get home from work, get his after school reading done :) Than we move on to whatever the boys might have in the way of homework, but ryan ALWAYS has 30 minutes of reading. Right now we are reading the sequel to a Boy No More. He will next be doing a big project for the Literacy Fair to go along with this book.

Godzilla
The base had a sneak preview of Godzilla tonight so the boys and i went to see it. We went and had lunch at Panda Express and than they went to the 3:30 movie and i sat in line which wasn't a line yet, so i was at the front and read my book until they got out of the movies. By the time they got out of their movie there was a long line and it was almost time to go in, they were just going to clean up the theater from the afternoon showing. It's nice being at the front of the line on these sneak peaks. I can get right in to the snack bar and get our food while one of the boys gets our seats and than we can just sit and relax and wait instead of waiting in endless lines and trying to find seats together and all the while i got to read my book! The movie was true Godzilla fashion and we totally loved it! The audience did too and there was much applause during the movie. It was a really fun night with the boys!

8th Grade Formal
Ty originally was not going to go to his 8th Grade Formal. First girls were arguing over who was going to ask him or who he was going to ask. He said he wasn't going to ask anyone. Than the drama, as he says strated with diferent girls arguing over who was going to ask him. He finally said he wasn't going to go as it was just too much drama. Girls were upset and there were even some tears, so he said he would go, just not with anyone. That seemed to queltch the drama and things quieted down. He insisted on choosing what he was going to wear even after Vicki and i picked out a much better 'outfit'. I dropped him off, he did NOT want me out on the schools front lawn like the other parents taking pictures. I couldn't blame him. It was quite the spectacle with kids together like it was prom! Ugh! Why are parents in such a rush to put their children in these super low cut dresses and pair them off with a boy.....? I just don't get it......ad than wonder why there are so many teen pregnancies and STD's....Ugh! I watched Ty walk in with some guy friends. I picked him up 2 hours later. He said, "hurry up and leave! We can't get out of here fast enough!" He told me how he sat at a table with friends and just talked and danced a few dances and that he does NOT like to slow dance at ALL but he did to make the one girl that actually cried when he said he wasn't going to go happy. Ty is a really nice guy......someday some girl is goign to be really lucky.....but not for many, MANY somedays!!!!

Really REALLY Gross Wart Story!
Before you even start this, just knwo that it is really, really gross!!!! OK, you obviously don't mind gross....Ryan's foot had been hurting....on the ball of his foot by his middle toes. I thought he was getting a callouse....It was hurting worse and effecting the way he walked so we went and saw our family doctor. It was a wart. She got the freezer gun and froze it. She froze it REALLY good! he watched it change colors and get black as it was dying. Apparently a hair got stuck in the dying, shriveling, shrinking wart. He pulled on the hair, and like WOW! The wart came off! He was like SOOOOOOO beyond happy, like to the moon and back with glitter happy that he came running to find me and show me his gross wart attached to the hair! Of course i had to take a picture and share this moment with Dad! He was there when we were at the Doctor getting it frozen, so it was ONLY fair that he see it officially dead and burried in the trash can! Ryan has a hole in his foot but he says his foot feels soooo much better and he is sooooo VERY happy to have the horrible yucky disgusting wart gone from his body!!! I'm happy it is gone too!
Lunch On The Docks
I can't believe my luck! My day ended early again!!! I wasn't hungry at lunch time so when i left work i took my lunch to my favorite spot and ate while i read my book! Life is good! I took some pictures for The Dude in Cammies too. I think the strawberry one will make him laugh! I will probably play with it with my black and white app and have some fun with it :)
LOVED spending some time at one of my favorite places! I am always surprised that nobody is ever there.....i kinda wish someone would be there than i wouldn't always have this fear of an alligator coming for me!!! Or a shark jumping out of the water and grabbing my foot and pulling me in!!! I guess it is only half way relaxing because of my mind always going crazy of horrible ways I'm going to die out there.....

Vix Is Taking Over My Cardio!
Vicki has discovered that cutting the grass is an awesome work out!!! She has taken over my cardio!!! Maybe i will get it back when we get into the triple digits, but for now she has highjacked it from me....
Jasper thinks he is her grass cutter coach! he just barks out commands!
There he is...just pacing along back and forth.....
Taking A Walk On The Dock
After work today i had time to take a quick walk on my favorite dock on base before traffic would start backing up....so peaceful.....except for my constant worry than an alligator is going to come up behind me on the dock and chase me....but other than that constant thought prickling my ever so vivid imagination it was wonderful!!!

Look Closely
Yes, this is Jasper lost under my sheets.....he couldn't get out and got all panicky!!! Crazy dog!! he was trying to get his tennis ball and somehow got his ball lost and himself lost! It was hilarious! He is like having a permanent toddler who can transform into a vicious killer anytime someone 5 doors down goes out to check their mailbox!

The Sign Is Finally Up!
Our realator came over today and the sign is up!!! Had to send this picture to The Dude in Cammies! He's been housing me to ge the sign up in the yard! It's not like i have nothing to do and dilly dally all day! I leave the house at 6:15 every morning and get home and after work and than off to whatever with the kids! But the sign is up! Everything else is online and rolling, now to just see if a qualified renter shows up before the next school year starts.....Tank is NOT looking forward to another move and has requested to be teleported this time! Or atleast, i think that was what he meowed to me in his grumbles on the rocking chair!
When Vicki Gets Home
This is the scene at the house when Vicki pulls into the driveway! Bella runs into the living room at full speed, flys up on the couch, climbs up to the back of the couch and calls out to the window to her! Bella is always soooo VERY excited for her Vicki to get back home to her! She misses her, but makes do with me when Vix is away.
First Snake 2014
The dogs were doing their loud panicky bark out back. I was pretty sure it was their 'snake' bark. I hadn't heard that bark in a LONG time! Sure enough, there was a nice size snake along the fence. It looked harmless, so i called the dogs in and walked and talked the snake out to the back fence line so it could go under the fence and on it's way. Hopefully it will remember our yard and NOT want to come back and spread the word that our back yard is NOT the place to hunt or lounge or cut through!!! Two things i dislike about the warmer weather....they both start with an S! Snakes & Spiders! YUCK!!!!
