You Never Let Me Down Mom

I heard a little knock on my door the other night. It was just after midnight. I knew it was Ty or Ryan. I went and opened my door and it was the little guy, Ryan. He asked if he could have a blanket. ( Have no idea where his blankets disappeared to…? ) I gave him my cool fishy fleece one to take back with him. I gave him a hug and told him good night. He looked up at me and said, “Thanks Mom, you never let me down.” I told him I loved him and i crawled back into bed. I was laying there thinking, wow, there is actually one person on this planet that thinks I have never let them down. He’s 7 years old and he thinks I haven’t let him down yet! Wow, that was a pretty cool feeling!
